If you’ve sustained an injury, there’s a good reason why you hurt

Your nervous system is creating physical pain to protect you. To make you slow down, rest, and allow healing to take place.

I have 14 years of clinical experience trained under some of the best diagnostic and manual physical therapists in the country. I use these skills to diagnose specifically what has been injured and then create a specific treatment plan to provide the optimal environment for healing that specific tissue in your body and getting you back to activity faster.

HERES HOW IT WORKS

At MindBody Physical Therapy & Pain Reprocessing, the “Body” part of our approach focuses on helping you move better with confidence and trust again. Pain often leads to guarded movements, compensations, muscles shut down, muscles tense up, and it changes in how we use our bodies—oftentimes without even realizing it. Over time, these patterns can actually keep the nervous system in a heightened state of protection, reinforcing pain to stick around.

We work together using the MindBody (Biopsychosocial) approach to reduce pain, restore healthy movement patterns, build strength and mobility where it’s needed, and improve flexibility and coordination—without pushing into flare-ups. Using closely monitored, mindful, graded activity, we help your body systems relearn that movement and activity is safe, reducing the threat signals allowing you to get back to activity faster without pain. This isn’t about “pushing through” pain. It’s about retraining your body to feel capable, strong, and free again—so you can return to the activities you love without fear or pain holding you back.
